The Story Behind...

The story behind each my works of art...I will share a new post every week

Ryton Gardens...

OrangeDroplets (1 of 1).jpg

I have been here quite a few times over the years, and for a while I was capturing some images they gardens were using in their membership magazines, social media and online presence.

There is so much to see at the gardens, from spring to late Autumn with a wide range of colours from the flowers to the fruit and vegetables they have growing there, but the best time to visit is in June & July to get the most out of it.

It is especially nice to visit after a summers rainfall, and if you have read some previous posts you will know I love to capture raindrops, they add something special to a photo....the glistening light, reflections, perfect spheres...

There is also a wide variety of wildlife flying around given the huge range of plants and flowers available for them, so if you keep your eyes peeled you will certainly see plenty of butterflies and dragonflies which are always great to capture too, if they stay still for long enough.

Thank you for reading as always - and if you are looking for something to liven up your home or office space please do take a look over at my online gallery here there is something for all tastes and decors.
