My Photography Story....part 2
My current Business Logo
If you didn't catch Part 1 - you can read that here.
Having now started out full time I decided that April 2015 was a great time for the website and logo to be revamped completely - the logo is the one I am still using now and I still love it although its due a redesign given I don't just focus on business photography any longer - the website had a lot more images on it and has been changed every year in April so far with the latest incarnation being my favourite yet by far - really minimalist & clear for visitors as to what services I offer.
All along I had been improving my skills & images immensely - all has been self taught just by picking up the camera and getting out as much as possible. Its always a buzz to reflect on how much I my images have improved over the years - but I am always striving to improve myself further. Always pushing myself to be better.
I was delighted to win a macro photography contest that gave me one years membership of the international society of photographers, had one of my images featured on the BBC website as well as getting a new camera and lens for my new family photo shoots service.
Really enjoyed running my first photography workshop, proud to have ran #covhour on twitter a few times and being the official photographer for #covhourlive on 29th June.
It is also great fun to write about and share the story behind some of my wall art images and I love the feedback they receive.
It feels as though the 2 years since April 2015 have been a total whirlwind, its all gone so fast its unbelievable but I know that all the effort, the countless hours spent trying to grow the business through networking, social media, administration and processing of images have all been worth it.
I am also very proud to have built up an amazing network of people across Warwickshire and strive to provide a service that my clients are always delighted with - and am really looking forward to the next 5 years being even better than the first 5.
Finally can I say a huge thank you to each and every one of you lovely people who have shared/liked/commented on my social media posts, bought one of my photography prints, had business or family photography from me, spoken with me at networking meetings, recommended me to someone - long may it continue....
Thank you for reading - hope its been interesting for you, and why not think about sharing your story on your blog?
