Well hello spring...good to finally see you
Great to finally see spring has arrived - warm sunny days, bright blue skies and finally able to ditch the winter jacket.
Managed to get out for most of yesterday around Wolston, Brandon Marsh and Coventry - so enjoyable to feel the sun beating down on my back.
This is the church and brook flowing towards the Avon running through Wolston.
Brandon Marsh, a stunning nature reserve belonging to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust on the outskirts of Coventry, now has some wildflowers emerging and butterflies appearing.
Dragonflies, another of my favourites, don't normally appear until May so a few more weeks to wait until I can capture those again.
Sadly, the butterflies were far too active and not landing at all to capture but the flowers fortunately don't move around so much :-)
Spotted a Jay in the Tree calling to another Jay - was only there for a few seconds so was lucky to capture this.
Also spotted a few horses roaming free in a field in Binley, Coventry that I had to pull over and capture.
How was your weekend? Did you make the most of the glorious sunshine?
