Just a bit of time out 'taking in' my own city....
I found myself with around 90 minutes on Monday, between my first job of the day at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry and being on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Radio, as part of the "Brody Bunch" with Brody Swain - always fun to go on as you always meet some fantastic local people.
Anyway, I digress!
Having finished at the Belgrade I had two things in particular I wanted to capture...either tilt shift or grainy black & white photos of the city. Tilt shift is a style that makes things look miniature, almost toy like...and the grainy B&W can add some real drama to a photo.
After the event I did a few in a colour pop style too - just leaving the blue in has really worked on the photos of the bridge around the transport museum.
I have shared a few of the pictures from the session on twitter and facebook pages - but I took a lot so thought I would write a blog on it and share more of the snaps in a few galleries here so people could see a few more, as they have proved very popular with people and If you would like to see my shots of Coventry at night head over to this link
I haven't created a gallery of these prints for sale yet but if you would like to order one please just get in touch and would be happy to help you.
